When Maritimo released the Maritimo 48 at the 2006 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, no one in the company anticipated what an incredible success they had created.

Within two-years, the Maritimo 48 had confirmed itself as the best-selling ‘big boat’ in Australian boating industry history!
To date, an astonishing 80 vessels are now in the hands of proud new owners, the most recent of them with the innovative Sky Lounge version.

While the accommodation areas remain unchanged, with three excellent staterooms and an expansive saloon featuring the Maritimo ‘trademark’, the delightful staircase to the flying bridge, the Sky Lounge version feature an extra 600mm ‘verandah’ aft of the ‘bridge.

It may not sound a lot, but that 600mm delivers what many feel is a sleeker profile, an even more spacious ‘bridge/helm area and an aft deck suitable for a spot of al fresco dining.

Despite weighing in 20 tonnes, the Maritimo 48 Sky Lounge remains a genuine performer thanks to dual Cummins QSM diesels each delivering 670hp.

And she’s a Maritimo, and that’s the difference.
